After seeing mixed reviews about Alibaba, I hesitated but decided to give it a shot with a purchase of an office table, cabinet and chair. Regrettably, it turned out to be a nightmare.Upon arrival, the products were damaged. Dealing with the supplier, Carlos Mai, was smooth pre-purchase, but post-purchase, it was a different story. Communication became painful, and when I raised concerns about the damaged goods, they demanded photos and videos, adding unnecessary frustration to the process.
Eventually, they acknowledged the damage to the cabinet, but the negotiation process for a refund was excruciating. Despite my simple request for a refund of the product price and shipping costs, they were unwilling to cooperate fully. They managed to secure a refund from the carrier, Carlos Mai refused to refund the product price. Seeking help from alibaba dispute resolution I did manage to get some refund. This experience has left a bitter taste and I have decided never to purchase from alibaba.
